Accessibility statement

PB Communication Laboratory AB is behind Wiki for Kidz. We want as many people as possible to be able to use the website. Here we describe how accessible the website is, which shortcomings we know about and how you can report problems to us.

How accessible is the website?

The website is partially compliant with the Swedish Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services (lagen om tillgänglighet till digital offentlig service). The shortcomings we know about are described below.

Content that is not accessible

We know about the following shortcomings:

• Screen readers have not been tested. We have not been able to verify how the website works with NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver. This is the largest known gap in our review.
• Some icons and decorative elements do not meet the contrast requirement, particularly in high-contrast mode.
• The focus indicator is weaker in high-contrast mode than in the other modes.
• The language of individual words and expressions is not always marked up in the code. This applies among other things to names and terms taken from Wikipedia.
• Some link texts are not fully descriptive without their context.
• Article content is fetched automatically from Wikipedia. We cannot guarantee that tables, captions and footnotes in all of that material meet every requirement.

What we have put right

After the review in August 2026, the following shortcomings have been corrected:

• All buttons now show a clear indicator when they are reached with the keyboard.
• The language switcher can now be operated with the keyboard alone.
• Each language version now states the correct language, so that screen readers pronounce the content correctly.
• The terms of service now show text instead of technical codes.
• The pages now work at 320 pixels wide and at 200 per cent magnification.

What we are doing next

We are working continuously to correct the shortcomings that remain. Testing with screen readers and a review by an independent party are the priority. This statement is updated as measures are carried out.

Supervision

Compliance with the Swedish Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services (lagen om tillgänglighet till digital offentlig service) is supervised by the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (Myndigheten för digital förvaltning). If you are not satisfied with how we handle your comments, you can report it to that agency.
