Your body is made of many tiny living parts called cells. These cells work together to make tissues. Tissues join together to make organs. Organs work together to make body systems.

On the outside, you have a head, hair, and a neck. Your torso is the middle part of your body. Your arms, hands, legs, and feet stick out from your torso. On the inside, you have organs, bones, muscles, and blood vessels.

Scientists study how your body looks and how it works. Your bones hold you up and protect your soft parts inside. Your muscles help you move around. Your blood carries important things like oxygen to keep you alive.

Your body needs to stay balanced to work well. This means having the right amount of sugar, iron, and oxygen in your blood. Many different body parts work together to keep you healthy. Doctors and artists study the body to help people and create art.
